1/2 cup melted butter

1 cup sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp instant espresso powder

2 eggs

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp kosher salt

1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

1/3 cup melted caramel 

1/2 tsp sea salt

1/3 cup toasted and copped pecans

INSTRUCTIONS:

Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking dish (9x9) with parchment paper. In a bowl, mix together butter, sugar, vanilla extract, and espresso powder. Stir in eggs. In another bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and kosher salt. Slowly add the dry mixture into the wet mixture, stirring until combined. Stir in chocolate chips. Add batter to prepared dish and bake for 25 minutes or until fully cooked. Once brownies are completely cool, remove from pan and cut the brownies into a heart shape, using a heart-shaped cookie cutter. Mix together melted caramel and sea salt. Drizzle over cut brownies and sprinkle with pecans.
