Now that winter is upon our beautiful landscape of Musella, Georgia, we wanted to take a moment to share with you the fun activities and delicious treats this season brings. Even when it's frosty, pecan and satsuma farm activities continue! 

It's Pecan and Satsuma Season

There's (nearly) nothing we enjoy more at Dickey Farms than picking fruits. With winter comes pecan and satsuma mandarin harvesting season, and the trees have not been shy to share their sweet treats with us!

Pecans

Thanks to our area's climate — long, hot summers followed by mild winters — Georgia pecan farms like Dickey Farms thrive and bear these renowned gourmet-quality nuts with unmatched taste.

Since it's pecan season, our Market Store pecan product stock has been filled with fresh goodies to enjoy. Currently, we are shipping Pawnee #1 pecans, which are a must-try.

Satsuma Mandarins

Satsuma mandarins are a super sweet and juicy gift of nature. With a high vitamin C content, these fruits are the perfect way to prevent winter colds. As they say, "A satsuma a day keeps the doctor away."

Farm Update: Market Moves To Our Winter Store

Lastly, we have moved our Farm Market to the back behind the packinghouse for the winter months. To find our winter store, keep an eye out for signs and follow the road to the left of the packinghouse. Down the slope, you will see a gray building, which is our winter store. Stop by and enjoy!

Winter is a beautiful season at Dickey Farms! Peach tree pruning is ongoing, and next year's crop plan is already cooking at low heat — and in between the work, we can have a cup of hot cocoa and a pecan cake by the warmth of a fireplace.

No matter the season, Dickey Farms is open all year round, and there's always something to see, do or taste. Saturdays - Sundays ONLY: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

Last corn maze ticket will be sold at 5pm each day.

Farm Market Hours:

Monday - Sunday: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm

What's available? Ice cream, fresh baked donuts and bread, slushies, pumpkins, apples, vegetables, and a great selection of delicious jar products!

Tickets will be available at our corn maze.

Seniors (60+): $12.95

Ages 2 & Under: FREE

Concessions:

Hot dogs, sausage dogs, sandwiches, chips, nachos, drinks, and ice cream. Food trucks will be present most weekends, so make sure to check our Facebook page for each week's menu.
