2018 Peach Season Crop Update
As many of you know, sweet Georgia peaches need one critical element to grow big, juicy and sweet: cold weather. Winter in 2017 and early 2018 have brought us many chill hours. Typically, peaches need 1000 hours of cold weather to really go dormant so they are able to bloom large and sweet in the spring.
We are nearly at 1,000 hours of cold weather and historically – this means a big season for our sweet peaches. If you would like to be notified as soon as our peaches become available, sign up on our peach lovers list below!
Many blessings to everyone and prayers for no late cold snaps!

Fresh Georgia Peaches – Shipped To Your Door
We have over 100 years of family experience growing the sweetest peaches in the heart of Georgia. Our farm has stood the test of time because we believe in offering the very best quality of peaches. This means spending hours in the orchards all year, looking at every detail.
Each one of our gift box peaches are handpicked at the height of their season. We believe in treating our customers like family, which is why we want to give you the very best. When you make an order, our peaches are still on the orchard tree waiting to be picked. With daily deliveries from our orchard to packinghouse, we can guarantee you are receiving something extraordinary.
Like all of our peaches, each peach that is selected for our gift boxes goes through several levels of inspections before it meets our standard for quality.
All of our gift box Georgia peaches are freestone peaches. They are known for their sweet flavor and their juicy consistency. Freestone peaches have flesh that separate easily from the pit, making them perfect for cooking, baking, and of course eating. These peaches have a gorgeous golden flesh with a scarlet center, they’re a very special treat for your peach lover recipient.

From Our Customers:
“Just wanted to let you know I received my peaches by mail today. I love visiting your farm for my peaches when I visit family in Georgia. They were a gift from my family that lives in Macon, GA. I’m sick and wouldn’t be able to drive down so she made sure I had the peaches I love to buy when I’m there. I’ve bought from other places and I love yours the best. Thanks again from Lexington, Kentucky.”
“Just received my package of Dickey Peaches all the way in Cheyenne, WY. They arrived in perfect condition and are delicious as always!”

“I just bought real Georgia peaches in Maryland! Thanks to the guys for driving all the way to Maryland to bring us a juicy taste of Georgia (my hometown is in Valdosta). They will be back in several weeks with more I can’t wait.”
“Thank you Dickey Farms ~ received my package this morning and Oh my GOODNESS! The peach cookies are indescribable 😀 And your peaches remain the best we’ve ever tasted. So thankful to have found you during my travels south several years back. Can’t wait to use your peach chutney and salsa. Thanks again for delights that never disappoint!”
“Just visited Dickey Farms with my wife this afternoon. We had such a great experience. They feature a large porch/ dining area as their main store full of rocking chairs and southern charm. They carry products from preserves and jams to fruit flavored syrups and peach fritters. The highlight of the trip was the peach ice cream. It is, as the other reviews all attest to, out of this world. We ended up with a jar of local honey, a peach fritter, pecan syrup, 3 baskets of peaches, and bellies full of homemade peach ice cream when it was all said and done. The staff was friendly and helpful. The Dickeys were there to greet the customers and talk with them. It’s so great to have family run businesses and to see the family so actively engaged in day to day operations. It was also fun to watch the factory sorting the freshly picked peaches which can be seen from the porch. I suggest a trip here for anyone who enjoys good food and good company.”
